One Nation Working Together Rally in Washington, DC

The ONE NATION WORKING TOGETHER is a rally which will be held in Washington, DC at the Lincoln Memorial on October 2, 2010.  It is a multi-racial, civil and human rights movement. The mission is to reorder our nation's priorities to invest in our most valuable resource - our people -- because we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to achieve the American Dream - a secure job, a safe home, and a quality education.

The Alabama NAACP will lead the effort in the State to mobilize the people and identify the resources to get everyone to this event.  Contact NAACP State President Benard Simelton at 256-426-6406 or visit the NAACP website at www.naacpalabama.org
